Window Wonders

Window Wonders is the result of a passion to be creative with colour and design.

Karen Reid, the creator, has always worked in creative fields, predominantly in the advertising and marketing industry.  She has travelled extensively and after a journey travelling through the colourful lands of Rhajastan in India she was introduced to a unique art medium, and from that was inspired.  She developed an idea of individually designing and handcrafting a fun product that could enhance and bring more colour into our every day lives, thus Window Wonders was born.

The first Window Wonders retail outlet was opened in Ripponlea, Melbourne in September 2001 and operated for three years.

In 2004, after feeling the restrictions of operating a retail outlet, the business changed its direction and focused on making the product more accessible and built a national distribution network through wholesaling in a variety of retail outlets throughout Australia – check ‘stockists’ link for details.

With continued growth every year, a website was created and launched in 2005. Through this the product has been able to extend its customer base world-wide.  It is the choice and turnover of designs that keeps the product fresh and in demand.  As a result, new designs are regularly introduced through the market outlets and once proven to be popular are then offered on this website.
